*NOTE: I apologize, but I am currently not accepting Book Review requests. I have quite a waiting list and have just been hired to write reviews for a magazine, so I am putting my direct requests, as well as anyone who finds me on Book Sirens, on a temporary hold. This NOTE will be updated when I am able to begin accepting direct Book Review requests again.

I am often asked by authors and indie authors to review their books. Sometimes, an author’s publisher or administrative assistant will contact me to review an author’s book. I am an avid reader and am always happy to read a book, and as a writer, I understand the importance of reviews. Therefore I am happy to write book reviews. I frequently receive ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) in exchange for my review.

I also review books for Book Sirens, a website that seeks Book Reviewers to review books for publishers and authors.

I will also read and write book reviews for books that have already been published. Authors and publishers often supply me with a free e-book copy for this purpose.

I do not read science fiction, horror, LGBTQ, erotica, or any stories with explicit sexual scenes or excessive profanity. I reserve the right to stop reading and not write a review if I discover any of these elements in a book I was requested to read and review.

I reserve the right to not finish a book and not review a book at any time. If I do not finish a book and write a review of the book, I will offer the person who requested the review an explanation.

I write an honest review of the books I read. I am not required to write a positive review nor any review, and I do not receive any payment for reviews posted here on my blog.

All reviews that I write will be posted on Goodreads and Amazon. A review on Amazon may take anywhere from a couple hours to a week to actually post. In addition, I will post my review here on the Blog of this website. Links to my blog post of the book review will also appear on my MeWe page.

Any books that I receive free in exchange for a book review will be indicated at the beginning of the review. All other reviews will be on books from my own collection.
