I don’t have a book review to post today, so I thought I’d do something different.  Do you like metaphors?  Do you use metaphors in your writing?

Here are just a few metaphors that came across my mind today:

“He is a tall, thin reed of a man.”

“A book is a ship to sail a thousand seas.”

“Her tender kiss is sugary sweet.”

“His voice is music to my very soul.”
