Sun
by Kelly F. Barr
I miss your warmth
And your bright glow.
You tease me
As you peek through the clouds;
Only to duck behind them again
As they spill their raindrops
Upon my head.
Rain, rain day in and day out
Makes me want to scream,
“Sun, sun come back again
So we may dance and play
Within the reach of your rays!”
