Top Ten Tuesday

Today’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday as determined by The Broke and the Bookish is Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to for the First Half of 2017.

  1. Daughter of the Pirate King by [Levenseller, Tricia]
  2. By Your Side by [West, Kasie]

When I read the book blurb about this one, it brought to mind and old favorite movie, The Breakfast Club, so I eagerly await this book’s arrival.

3. Once and for All by [Dessen, Sarah]

4. The Illusionist's Apprentice by [Cambron, Kristy]

5. The Mark of the King by [Green, Jocelyn]

6. If I'm Found (If I Run Series) by [Blackstock, Terri]

7. The Memory of You by [West, Catherine]

8.

9. Recruits (Recruits Book #1) by [Locke, Thomas]

10. Piecing Me Together by [Watson, Renée]

Are any of these on your list? Are any of these authors your faves?

    • Hello Girl About Library,

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my TTT this week, and for leaving a comment.

LOL, I find books to add to my TBR on almost every TTT post I read each week.

  1. Nice list! The Illusionist’s Apprentice looks good! I don’t think I’ve read any of Terri Blackstock’s books, but recognized the name. I feel like I might have a few of her books in my TBR pile, but don’t recognize any of the titles on her website. Regardless, If I’m Found looks interesting, I may have to keep an eye out for it and the first book.

    • Hi Ree,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I have the first book by Terri Blackstock entitled “If I Run” but I haven’t read it yet.
Guess I better read it before the second one comes out. I’ve been a Blackstock fan for a while now. She’s very good with suspense.
      Happy reading! 🙂

  2. Recruits is new to me, I haven’t seen that one before! And If I’m Found looks very intriguing- my tendency to fall for covers I like may sway me there! And The Names They Gave Us has me interested as well- I just discovered it today browsing all the lists and I might want to get that one. Thanks for sharing yours!

    • Welcome to my blog, Cassie. I have never read anything by Kasie West or Emery Lord, but these two books are very intriguing to me. Also, I’ve seen Kasie West’s books on lots of other TTT posts by other bibliophiles. I found the Illusionist’s Apprentice on one of the New Books in 2017 lists at Goodreads and can’t wait to get my hands on it. Happy reading!
