It’s Christmas Time

Decorations on the tree;
Glittering lights;
Candles aglow.
Eyes sparkling in anticipation;
Boxes wrapped;
Ribbons and bows.
Cookies baked;
Children in bed;
Stockings hung all in a row.
Candy Canes and hot chocolate;
He patiently waits
To catch her underneath the mistletoe.
